Arrest Warrants Issued for NiuSky Executives Over K2.4 Million Police Payment Scandal

Authorities have issued arrest warrants for NiuSky Pacific Limited’s Acting Managing Director Graham Blythe and Board Chairman Robin Kawat, as police intensify investigations into a major K2.4 million scandal linked to unauthorized security payments.

The pair allegedly authorized payments between 2023 and 2024 to 23 police officers and 13 individuals posing as police without proper legal or procedural clearances.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Benjamin Turi, who is leading the investigation, confirmed that both executives have avoided police inquiries, prompting the issuance of the warrants. “They must come forward or we will use force,” Turi told NBC News.

Immigration authorities have also been directed to block Graham Blythe from leaving the country. He faces immediate arrest if he attempts to travel.

Turi emphasized that those with nothing to hide should cooperate. He also cautioned officers working on the case to stay alert amid reported attempts to bribe and influence the investigation.

This case is being treated as a serious instance of misuse of public funds, corporate misconduct, and criminal impersonation, and more arrests are expected as investigations progress.
